Bulk Delivery-Landscaping Products-mulch-organic compost-topsoilYou’ve got a huge to-do list every spring: planting, pruning, mowing, gardening…. spare yourself from adding “Vacuuming Out the Car” to the list! Let GreenCycle handle your bulk delivery of mulch to spiff up your beds, larger quanities of organic compost to get your vegetables in top production mode, or bulk topsoil delivery for those big lawn projects.

Delivery Tip 1#: Get Good Advice on Bulk Quantities Needed. It can be hard to determine just how much mulch is the right amount, or how much organic compost your veggies will need for the season. With bulk topsoil deliveries as well, we can help you determine the right amount for your project. Measure your beds, then call GreenCycle for the best advice on quantity and recommendations on how deep a layer you may need. There is a three yard minimum on deliveries, but it’s most likely you will be ordering at least that quantity for your home landscaping project.

Delivery Tip #2: Have Fun Shopping. You can even shop from home. Choose your landscaping products by browsing our website for mulch selections, and choose the color and texture that best suits your plantings. We’re happy to help you make the best selection, so just give GreenCycle a call.

Delivery Tip #3: Plan Ahead for Your Delivery. Check your schedule and think about how much time you’ll need to set aside for your gardening or landscaping project – probably a few days. Weather on delivery day is not really a concern, as you can have a tarp handy to cover your delivery and keep it out of the elements until you are ready to bring your delivery to its final destination on the property. We do need a few days’ notice in most cases to schedule your delivery, particularly in springtime when bulk deliveries are most popular. So once you’ve figured out the ideal time for your project to start, call your nearest GreenCycle location a few days before your start date to choose a convenient delivery time.

Delivery Tip #4: Be Well Prepared. Choose a good spot for your bulk delivery. A level spot side-to-side, with no overhanging wires, low tree branches, gutters, or basketball hoops is best. Try to find an area where your mulch pile is not in the way, where your compost is fairly close to your garden, or where your topsoil delivery can be easily accessed via wheelbarrow. We’ll ask you on the phone where you would like us to drop off your order. Please understand that we prefer that our delivery trucks stay on the pavement – otherwise they will leave tracks on the property. Homeowners will have to be present to receive off-driveway deliveries, and will have to sign a damage waiver.

Make sure your wheelbarrow, shovels, and rakes are in good working order. Make your landscaping project a social event: enlist your kids and friends to help out! (Pizza is always a good reward for your helpers at the end of the day in the yard…)
