Landscape Products The materials disposed of at GreenCycle sites are either composted, or, in the case of waste wood and brush, ground into mulch. Compost is a soil amendment which is many times richer in organic material than the finest topsoil, and it contains beneficial families of microbes which protect plants and promote their growth. Various types of mulch are produced including wood shavings colored to enhance the landscapes on which they are used for several seasons. Contract Services GreenCycle provides services ranging from advice and counsel on the construction and operation of organic recycling facilities to complete turnkey operation of municipal sites.
