- Caroline R. Repenning
President, GreenCycle Incorporated
Caroline began her career with General Electric Company, where she developed complex system and application software. Her experience with creating sophisticated financial software led her to pursue an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Returning to the workforce after raising her four sons, Caroline launched GreenCycle in 1992.
- David A. Wagner
Vice President, GreenCycle Incorporated
David helped found GreenCycle, where both his legal and accounting expertise keep all of the GreenCycle companies in peak operating shape. He computerized accounting systems across all GreenCycle operations, manages the financing of the entire organization, and provides legal services for GreenCycle’s operating companies. David holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Illinois and a JD from Loyola University. A Certified Public Accountant, he has also taught Intellectual Property Law at Loyola University. Prior to joining GreenCycle, David was President of The Rubicon Group, Ltd., a computer software company. He also served as CFO and General Counsel of one of Chicago’s largest computer software companies.
- Peter A. Repenning
Vice President, GreenCycle Incorporated
Peter holds a degree in Physics and Mathematics and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He helped manage marketing operations for the General Electric Company’s computer manufacturing division for twelve years. One of GreenCycle’s founding partners, Peter oversees operations of all GreenCycle composting facilities. In addition, he applies his marketing background to the management of our corporate identity, marketing and public relations activities.
- Winthrop B. Repenning (Win)
Vice President – Operations, GreenCycle of Indiana
Win holds a BA in Economics from The College of Wooster. He directs composting and mulch manufacturing operations at all GreenCycle locations in Indiana. A “natural engineer,” Win excels at machinery repair and maintenance, with an eye for constant improvement. Win has been with GreenCycle since 1996.
- John E. Repenning
Vice President – Marketing and Administration, GreenCycle of Indiana
John holds a BA in Sociology from Ohio Wesleyan University. He sources raw materials and markets finished products for our Indiana operations. John develops new opportunities for GreenCycle, including customer development and new facility siting for our Indiana operations. John has been with GreenCycle since 1995.
- James V. Repenning (Jamie)
Vice President of Operations, GreenCycle of the Northeast
Jamie earned a BA in Economics from The Colorado College before joining GreenCycle of the Northeast in 1996. He took a two-year sabbatical to earn his MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Business. During that time, he worked in Finance for AngloGold Limited in South Africa. Jamie oversees GreenCycle’s operations in Connecticut, where he develops new business opportunities for the company.
- Nelson P. Repenning, Ph.D.
Operations Management Consultant to GreenCycle, Incorporated
Nelson holds a BA in Economics from The Colorado College and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is currently a professor of Operations Management at MIT’s Sloan School of Management. Nelson’s extensive experience across a variety of industries and with an array of corporations has been a valuable resource to GreenCycle. His direction of our annual strategy meetings has been instrumental in GreenCycle’s success. Nelson has advised GreenCycle since 1992.
- J. Christopher Field (Chris)
Vice President and General Manager, GreenCycle of the Northeast
Chris, a graduate of Harvard University, joined GreenCycle in 1994 after a long and successful tenure with EarthGro Corporation. As Vice President of Composting Operations of EarthGro (now owned by the Scotts Company), Chris was instrumental in directing this large East Coast composter in the development and marketing of bagged organic materials. His extensive composting experience makes Chris our composting expert,responsible for all GreenCycle facilities in the eastern United States.
